Product information
Our Y-boom ladder is made of hot dip galvanized steel, with rifled rungs to ensure a better grip. It’s to be mounted directly on the Y-boom, close to the bridge. The highly effective reflectors show the way out of the water.
It comes with an ergonomic handle and a reflective sign (“Rescue Ladder”).

“Where there is a need for life saving equipment, there should be lifebuoys available. Fixed ladders or stairs should be available if it is difficult to come out of the water in another way.”

Placing
Position the ladder so it is clearly visible. The ladders are to be placed 25 - 50 m apart from each other. Position the sign “Rescue Ladder” on the bridge, next to the ladder.
Not in the way
The location of the Y-boom ladder makes it always available but never in the way. It will always reach well below the water surface since it follows the movement of the Y-boom.
Handle
The aluminium handle makes it easy to climb up onto the bridge. The low profile reduces the risk of tripping on it. It’s designed to fit both stone- and wood bridges as well as quays.

The Y-boom ladder is made of hot dip galvanized steel with rifled rungs for better grip.
Rescue marked
Reflectors indicate the way out of the water. The handle and sign (“Rescue Ladder”) also come with reflectors.
