Product information
The lifebuoy post is developed for all environments where lifesaving equipment is needed, such as quays, bridges and beaches. It consists of a pole (1,5 meters), fittings and a lifebuoy with a 25 m long heaving line.
The lifebuoy is red with high visibility reflectors and comes with an option to put the name of the harbour or beach on it (included in the price).
Shore Safetys lifesaving equipment meet the requirements of the Swedish Civil Protection and Emergency Agency (MSB).
This is what the law says
“Where there is a need for life saving equipment, there should be lifebuoys available. Fixed ladders or stairs should be available if it is difficult to come out of the water in another way. At high quays, where it is difficult to reach a distressed from land or where there is deep water directly at land or dock, there should also be rescue hooks and rescue ladders available.”

Placing
Position the post perpendicular to the waterline to make it visible also from a great distance.
The post is fastened in a quay fitting or mounted in a dug down concrete fitting.
