Our rescue raft (RR3) is a custom designed, lightweight and self-explanatory lifesaving platform for easy and safe handling.
It holds easily two rescuers and a distressed person. The new design makes it very easy to pull the distressed person out of the water to start CPR immediately. The rescue raft also works well on thin ice and can also be used as a stretcher.
It is also recommended to use the special rescue hook to search and trawl for submerged persons.
Shore Safetys lifesaving equipment meet the requirements of the Swedish Civil Protection and Emergency Agency (MSB).

Due to the edgeless stern of the rescue raft, pulling the distressed person onboard is easy. The lack of a stern also enables the distressed person to climb onto the raft by own force, if necessary.
The raft is stable enough to start CPR immediately after rescue, when still on open waters. This is of outmost importance since starting CPR as soon as possible is crucial, saves lives and dramatically reduces the risk of permanent injuries.
Due to the low weight of the rescue raft, one person can launch the raft himself. The six integrated handles enable the raft to be used as a stretcher.
This durable polythene construction has a carrying capacity of over 300 kg (650 lbs). All components are labelled and fully recyclable.
The raft is very visible due to the rafts red colour and SOS–yellow reflectors. The illustrative instructions posted on the raft clearly states its lifesaving purpose and different usage options.
